BALTIMORE — The Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA) Police are reaching out to the community for assistance in identifying an individual linked to an assault on a bus driver that occurred last month in downtown Baltimore.
The incident took place on April 1 at approximately 6:40 p.m. on an MTA CityLink Navy bus while it was traveling along West Lombard Street. According to reports, the suspect boarded the bus with a group of juveniles at East Lombard Street.
As the bus proceeded into the 100 block of West Lombard Street, the assault happened. The suspect exited the bus shortly thereafter in the unit block of West Lombard Street.
Details regarding the bus operator's injuries have not been disclosed. MDOT MTA Police have released a photo of the suspect and are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward.
