Authorities responded to a report of a man seen loading a firearm at a bus stop located on Lost Knife Road, near the Montgomery Village Plaza. The call raised concerns about public safety, prompting a swift police response.
Upon arrival, officers attempted to engage the man in a peaceful resolution. However, the situation escalated when the individual took actions that led police to discharge their weapons, resulting in his death at the scene. A handgun was recovered by the authorities following the incident.
