BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police have taken a person of interest into custody following a shooting incident that occurred on Saturday evening in the Franklin Square area.
At approximately 5:19 p.m. on June 20, officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 300 block of North Gilmor Street, situated in southwest Baltimore.
Upon their arrival, law enforcement officials discovered a 36-year-old man who had sustained a gunshot wound to his leg. He was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where he is expected to recover from injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting and are encouraging anyone with relevant information to reach out.
