PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — A unique robbery incident unfolded recently in Beltsville when a man was apprehended for using a stolen kitten as a diversion during a bank heist.

The suspect allegedly took a tuxedo kitten from Pet Supplies Plus, a local pet organization, before making his way to a nearby PNC Bank.

Upon entering the bank, he reportedly asked the bank manager to hold the kitten while he prepared a note. He then handed the note to a teller, demanding cash.

Law enforcement responded quickly to the situation, leading to the man's arrest. Fortunately, the stolen kitten, named Magnolia, was located safe and sound in the bank manager's office.
