At 844 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Ferndale, or
over Baltimore-Washington Airport, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to
fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage
homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed
trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured
light objects may become projectiles.

Locations impacted include...
Severn, Crofton, Riviera Beach, Baltimore-Washington Airport, Fort
Smallwood State Park, Glen Burnie, Severna Park, Odenton, Pasadena,
Lake Shore, Ferndale, Brooklyn Park, Fort Meade, Millersville, South
Gate, Green Haven, Linthicum, Jessup, Gambrills, and Herald Harbor.

What to do

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
