Sex Offense Charges Against Baltimore County Teacher Dismissed

Charges against a teacher in Baltimore County, who was accused of sexual offenses, have been officially dropped, as confirmed by the County State's Attorney's Office.

The decision to dismiss the case came after the alleged victims expressed their unwillingness to testify, citing concerns for their mental health and overall well-being. This led to the case being classified as Noelle Pros, indicating a choice not to pursue prosecution.

The teacher, who worked as a physical education instructor at Deep Creek Middle School, had been facing allegations of sexually assaulting students on school grounds. Following the initiation of the investigation, he was placed on administrative leave in January 2025.

Having been with the district since 1996, the teacher began his tenure at Deep Creek Middle School in 2024. After his arrest, he was released from custody on recognizance.

Principal Laura Kelly emphasized the importance of maintaining a safe educational environment for students in the wake of the allegations.
