The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) has initiated a homicide investigation following a fatal shooting that occurred in the Northwest District.
On June 20, at around 12:21 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting at a business located in the 5400 block of Park Heights Avenue.
Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a 24-year-old male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel were called to the scene but unfortunately pronounced the man dead shortly thereafter.
The investigation is ongoing as police work to gather more information regarding the circumstances surrounding this incident.
