ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. — Authorities are probing a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning in Hanover, leaving six individuals injured.
Police responded to reports of a disturbance in the 1300 block of Charwood Road, where they discovered multiple victims had sustained gunshot wounds.
Upon their arrival, officers located a man with a gunshot wound to his torso. He was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where he is expected to recover from his non-life-threatening injuries.
As the morning progressed, law enforcement received notifications regarding additional victims who arrived at three separate hospitals. In total, five more individuals were reported injured, including two juveniles, all of whom are also being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and police are working to gather more information about the incident.
