PARKVILLE, Md. — Authorities are currently looking into a shooting incident that occurred in Parkville early Tuesday morning, resulting in one fatality.
Police officers were dispatched to the 8500 block of Chestnut Oak Road at approximately 1 a.m. after receiving multiple reports of gunfire in the vicinity.
Upon arrival, officers found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the immediate response, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting is still active, and no further details have been released at this time.
