The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the Southeast District.

On July 9, at around 10:35 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 400 block of North Highland Avenue following reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, police found a 35-year-old man with a gunshot wound. The victim was quickly transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Fortunately, his injuries are not considered life-threatening, and he is expected to recover.
