The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) is currently investigating a shooting that occurred on July 19 in Southwest Baltimore, injuring six individuals, one of whom is in critical condition.
At approximately 9:45 p.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 2600 block of Hollins Ferry Road. Upon arrival, they found two male victims, aged 18 and 21, suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
In a related incident, another 18-year-old male sought medical attention at a firehouse on Annapolis Road for non-life-threatening gunshot injuries and was subsequently taken to a hospital.
Additionally, three more male victims, aged 17 and 19, arrived at local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, all linked to the same shooting incident.
As of the latest updates, five of the six victims are reported to be in stable condition, while the 21-year-old remains in critical condition and is undergoing surgery. The BPD's Southern District detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting and are urging anyone with information to reach out at 410-396-2499.
