The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the Central District of Baltimore.
At around 2:22 a.m. on June 13, officers conducting patrols heard gunfire in the vicinity of the 1600 block of Fleet Street. Upon responding to the area, they discovered a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg.
The victim was promptly transported to a local hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition.
Detectives from the Central District shooting unit have taken over the investigation into the incident.
