The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the Southern District on June 24.
At around 9:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of Washington Boulevard following reports of gunfire.
Upon their arrival, they found a 39-year-old woman who had sustained a gunshot wound. Fortunately, her injuries are not considered life-threatening.
The victim was promptly transported to a local hospital for medical care.
