The Baltimore Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident that took place in the Southeast District of the city.
On June 11, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of N. Curley Street around 9:49 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a 34-year-old man who had sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Meanwhile, detectives from the Southeast District shooting unit have taken over the investigation.
During their inquiry, detectives discovered that the shooting originated from an attempted robbery on the 3300 block of Pulaski Highway.
