Sinkhole Forms in Baltimore County After Water Main Break

BALTIMORE COUNTY — A significant water main break has resulted in the formation of a sinkhole at the intersection of Kavanaugh Road and Inverton Road.

Officials from the Baltimore County Department of Public Works reported that a vehicle became trapped in the sinkhole, prompting crews to respond and work on its removal.

The water main break has impacted approximately 50 service connections in the area, leading to disruptions for local residents and businesses.

As of now, the duration of the road closures remains uncertain, and officials are advising motorists to seek alternative routes.
