BALTIMORE, MD — Mayor Brandon M. Scott has provided important updates regarding traffic and safety measures for the Memorial Day weekend and the Artscape festival.

From Saturday, May 24th to Monday, May 26th, the Baltimore City Emergency Operations Center (EOC) will be in a Level II "Partial Activation" to facilitate city operations during these events.

Road Closures

Several streets will experience closures to accommodate festival activities:

  • From Thursday, May 22nd at 4:00 p.m. to Monday, May 26th at 12:00 a.m.
  • From Friday, May 23rd at 2:00 p.m. to Monday, May 26th at 12:00 a.m.

Motorists are advised to stay informed about the specific streets affected by these closures.

Parking Restrictions

Parking restrictions related to Artscape commenced at 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20th, and will remain in effect throughout the week. Drivers should be vigilant regarding posted parking guidelines, as vehicles parked in violation may be ticketed or towed.
