Adjunct faculty at Stevenson University will engage in teaching activities in accordance with the University’s faculty workload policies. Teaching responsibilities will include teaching courses in the Art and Graphic Design Department that may include Introduction to Art History and/or other courses as assigned. Some departmental opportunities may include service, scholarship, and involvement in off-campus, evening, or weekend duties. Art History functions as part of the Graphic Design program’s foundation and a general education fine arts elective for any Stevenson student. Students gain historical perspective, critical thinking capabilities, and hands-on skills to prepare them for success in many fields.
