Job Summary
Universal Pro Care Inc. is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, employees, and community partners. This position plays a critical role in supporting daily office operations while helping ensure exceptional service delivery for individuals receiving residential and community-based support services.

Job Schedule:
Mondays to Fridays (8 am to 5 pm).
Closed on major federal public holidays
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome visitors, clients, vendors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
Respond to inquiries and provide accurate information regarding agency services.
Maintain a professional reception area and office environment.
Office Operations
Monitor and request office supplies and equipment.
Process incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
Coordinate office maintenance requests and contractor communications.
Support special projects and organizational initiatives as assigned.
Human Resources Support
Assist with onboarding paperwork for new employees.
Maintain personnel files and training records.
Schedule interviews and employee orientations.
Support staff credentialing and compliance tracking.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field preferred.
One or more years of experience as a receptionist or similar role is preferred
Excellent communication skills with a commitment to customer service
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Familiar with computers, desktop phones, and scheduling software
Excellent multi-tasking skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Requirements
Valid driver's license preferred.
Ability to pass required background screenings.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
