Part-Time and Full-Time Baristas Wanted – Clock Tower Coffee & Bakery! An established, busy independent coffee shop is looking to add 2–3 reliable, high-energy part-time and full- time baristas to our team immediately!
The Shifts We Need:
Primarily opening/morning shifts (6:30 AM – 2:30 PM) to help conquer our morning rush.Cafe hours are 7am - 4:30pm.Afternoon/closing hours shifts are available.Flexible schedules available (perfect for college students or local part-timers).What We Are Looking For:
Big energy, a warm smile, and a love for connecting with our regular customers.Punctual, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Prior barista, cash handling, or quick-service food experience is a plus, but not required—we will train the right person!How to Apply:

Duties
Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and accuracyPrepare a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and light food items following established recipes and safety standardsOperate Toast POS system to process sales swiftly and accuratelyHandle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision using retail math skillsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation zones and serving stationsEnsure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all timesAssist in stocking supplies, managing inventory levels, and rotating stock to ensure freshness and qualityRequirements
Prior experience as a barista or in food service environments with a focus on coffee preparation is a plus but not required! The current team is able to train you!Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS or Square POS is highly desirableStrong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customersExcellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently without sacrificing qualityBasic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculationsKnowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniquesAbility to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks involved in café operationsPrevious experience in the food industry or retail math is a plusJoin us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional service while honing your skills in a fast-paced café setting.
