Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and energetic Body Shop Painter to join our dynamic auto repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles after repairs, ensuring a flawless appearance that meets customer expectations. Responsibilities
Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
Apply paint using airless spray guns, power tools, or hand tools with precision and attention to detail
Perform auto body repairs such as filling dents, smoothing surfaces, and repairing minor damages before painting
Conduct buffing, polishing, and detailing to achieve a smooth, glossy finish that meets quality standards
Manage auto glass replacement and repair as needed during the repainting process
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained
Collaborate with technicians on vehicle repair estimates and communicate progress effectively with customers
Requirements
Dealership experience or background in auto body repair is highly preferred
Proficiency with welding, auto painting techniques, and auto restoration processes
Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and buffing machines
Knowledge of auto glass installation and detailing practices
Ability to lift heavy parts or equipment safely during the repair process
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Familiarity with auto estimating software is a plus
Prior experience working with auto body repair or dealership environments is advantageous
Mechanical or mechanic experience is beneficial for understanding vehicle structures and repairs

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
