Job Post Summary:
Express Employment Professionals is looking to build a pool of reliable event staff ready to work ASAP.


We are supporting a VERY busy catering client with 50+ events this month and need people who can jump in and help as shifts become available.


This is NOT full-time — this is flexible, as-needed work. If you're available, great. If not, no problem. Perfect for picking up extra hours.


Pay:
$20.00 – $25.00/hour (based on role & experience)


What You’ll Be Doing (varies by role):



Set up event spaces (tables, linens, décor, utensils)
Serve food and beverages while providing great guest service
Assist with food prep, plating, and presentation
Heat and finish dishes on-site at events
Buss tables, clear dishes, and keep areas clean
Set up bar stations and serve drinks (bartenders)
Deliver food/equipment and assist with setup (drivers – DOT required)
Work as a team to keep events running smoothly

Requirements:



MUST have catering, banquet, or event experience
Strong sense of urgency (fast-paced environment)
Knowledge of food handling & safety standards
Strong customer service / guest-facing skills
Ability to stand for long periods and stay active
Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Flexible schedule (events include nights & weekends)
