Role Description The Certified Medical Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Rosedale, MD. This team member supports providers by preparing exam rooms, taking vital signs, and documenting medical histories. Daily responsibilities include rooming patients, updating and maintaining accurate medical records, managing patient flow, and collecting specimens and preparing for transit. The Certified Medical Assistant will assist with scheduling, referrals, and coordination of care.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Medical Assisting, including taking vital signs.Working knowledge of Medical Terminology and general care.Experience in a Medical Office setting, including appointment coordination, communication with clinical staff, and professional interaction with patients is a plus.Strong Patient Care skills, with a focus on empathy, respect, and maintaining patient comfort and safety.Ability to accurately maintain and update Medical Records, preferably using electronic health record (EHR) systems.Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or equivalent) credential and compliance with state and organizational requirements.Basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification, or willingness to obtain within a defined timeframe.Effective communication skills, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.


Pay rate $20-$22 per hour
