Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team. This opportunity is located in San Antonio, TX at a hospital facility. Candidates should be prepared to work in a high-volume surgical environment supporting a range of specialties.

Minimum Requirements:

Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). BLS certification. Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified OR/Surgical Technologist in a surgical environment. Experience or comfort supporting vascular procedures, plastics/reconstructive cases (including DIEP flaps/microsurgery), robotics (bariatric, GYN, general, colorectal), and orthopedics (total joints) is recommended by the client and should be included in candidate submissions when applicable (preferred). Preferred Qualifications Experience with robotics-assisted surgeries. Previous exposure to microsurgery and complex reconstructive cases. Prior experience in a high-acuity hospital operating room.
