Position: Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist - Travel Job Jackson Health Pros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states. Minimum Requirements:Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field as required by individual clients.Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.Laboratory licensure if required by state regulations for the assignment.Minimum 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Medical Technologist.BLS certification.Basic blood bank skills required. Candidates without blood bank skills will not be considered.Experience with Meditech preferred.Experience with Ortho manual gel, Pro Vue, or Vision preferred.Assignment DetailsShift hours: .Unit: Transfusion Services Lab (blood bank) responsibilities include type and screens, cross matches, simple and complex antibody identifications, and component modifications such as syringes and aliquots.Dress code: black bottoms and olive green top required.Apply now and one of our recruiters will reach out with the details to see if this is the right fit for you.
