WHAT WE NEED

Bopat Electric is hiring experienced Commercial Electricians to support commercial electrical construction projects.

This position is ideal for an experienced Commercial Electrician with commercial construction experience who enjoys building projects, working as part of a skilled field team, mentoring apprentices, and delivering high-quality electrical installations safely and efficiently.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Perform commercial electrical installations, renovations, tenant fit-outs, and electrical upgrades on active construction projectsInstall conduit, feeders, switchgear, panelboards, lighting, power distribution, motor controls, and other commercial electrical systemsRead and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and project documentsWork closely with foremen, project managers, apprentices, and field crews to complete commercial construction projects safely and efficientlyMentor and train apprentices while supporting crew productivity and developmentTrack materials, tools, and job site resources as neededPromote a safe work environment and represent the company professionally on all job sites

WHAT YOU BRING

Active Maryland Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent Journeyman License from a reciprocating state5+ years of commercial electrical construction experienceStrong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, including conduit, switchgear, panelboards, power distribution, lighting, motor controls, fire alarm, and low-voltage systemsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and one-line diagramsStrong understanding of NEC requirements, commercial construction practices, and job site safety standardsExperience mentoring apprentices and working effectively as part of a field crewOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferredValid driver's license

Compensation ranges may vary based on individual experience. Final offers may differ from the posted range depending on a candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and the specific role offered.

Compensation Range: $30 USD - $40 USD
