Responsibilities Plan games and activities that are developmentally appropriateDesign a daily and weekly scheduleProvide basic care and caregiving activitiesEvaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestonesCommunicate with parents and update them on their children’s activitiesQualificationsPrevious experience as a daycare lead teacher or assistant teacherStrong understanding of child developmentPatient, kind, and nurturingExcellent organizational, communication, and time management skillsFirst aid/CPR certified, or willingness to become certified
