Role Summary 

T. Rowe Price is seeking a strategic financial leader to guide decision-making, resource allocation, and long-range planning for the Global Distribution business unit. This Director-level role blends hands-on partnership with select senior Distribution leaders and ownership of how Global Distribution's financial story is consolidated and told across the organization. Additionally, this position plays a central role in developing three-year integrated strategic and financial plans for the business. Beyond technical expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis, success in this role requires relationship-building skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders. This role reports to the Finance Business Partner for Global Distribution and will be supported by a team of managers and analysts.

Responsibilities  

  • Partner with senior Distribution leaders, leveraging financial analysis to shape strategic planning and drive ongoing decision-making. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Global Distribution business, including the strategy, key financial drivers, business processes, and interdependencies. 
  • Track gross sales, redemptions, and net new flows within the distribution channels you support and maintain a forward-looking forecast of how net new flows will trend over time. 
  • Help the business define and track OKRs and KPIs related to the day-to-day operations of the business or specific initiatives. 
  • Lead the FP&A manager and analyst team to support budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking, as well as decision-making across the business through business case analysis, profitability assessments, and financial modeling. 
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities across the Global Distribution business and ensure disciplined tracking of their financial impact over time. 
  • Foster strong engagement and alignment between the Global Distribution FP&A team and the broader finance organization, including supporting and leading cross-functional initiatives. 
  • Leverage AI and automation to drive efficiency and implement opportunities to modernize our FP&A processes. 
  • This role supports a global team and may occasionally require meetings outside of standard business hours. 

Qualifications  

 Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree AND 10+ years of total relevant work experience 

 Preferred: 

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business Administration preferred
  • Minimum of 10+ years of finance or general management experience 
  • Investment or Asset management industry experience
  • Strong functional skills in financial analysis, financial planning, and management reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders of an organization, largely supported by excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship management and business partnering skills
  • Self-motivated and self-reliant while possessing experience in successfully leading a cross-functional team
  • Demonstrated strong people management skills; Helps develop future leaders for the firm
  • Ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills: position requires interaction with all levels of internal staff
  • Proven project management experience with a business perspective
  • Strong execution abilities and proven to have delivered results
  • Advanced degree, CPA, CFA and/or MBA is preferred

Work Flexibility 

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.  Primary Work Location at Harbor Point office.  Please note: Relocation assistance is available for candidates 50+ miles outside headquarters.

Base Salary Ranges

$143,000.00 - $245,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$158,000.00 - $269,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$179,000.00 - $306,000.00 for the location of: New York, California

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the roleBase salary is only one component of our total compensation packageEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
