Duties
QUALIFICATIONS:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Three years' experience in one or more of the areas of: safety management systems, incident investigation, and/or workers compensation and insurance claims. One year of this experience must include supervising employees in the inspection of various workplaces to ensure compliance and enforcement of applicable state and federal safety and health laws, regulations, and standards.
Note:
U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as defined under the Minimum Qualifications may be substituted for the required education and experience on a year-for-year basis.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and strategic planning skills.
- Associate in management (AIM) certification
- Associate in Claims (AIC) Certification
- Airport Certified Employee and Safety Management (SMS)
- Knowledge of OSHA, MOSH, and other applicable federal and state safety regulations.
- Ability to foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
