Position Summary
This position is responsible for the safe sampling, testing, loading, and unloading of tanker trucks while ensuring products are transferred into the correct storage tanks. The role is based in our tank farm operation and requires working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Sample and test incoming product to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.
Safely unload tanker trucks into designated storage tanks.
Verify tank assignments and maintain accurate transfer records.
Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the tank farm.
Communicate effectively with drivers, supervisors, and team members.
Assist with other operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
Comfortable working outdoors and in an industrial environment.
Ability to climb tanker truck ladders and fixed ladders up to approximately 32 feet in height.
Good balance and physical fitness are required.
Must be comfortable working at heights and utilizing caged ladders and elevated catwalks.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a tank farm environment involving loading and unloading operations.
Employees may occasionally come into contact with used oil and other petroleum-related products.
Exposure to varying weather conditions may occur.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
