This is a 9-month, full-time, campus-based, open rank faculty position in the Applied Mathematics program, School of the Sciences (SOS), with responsibilities for teaching, course development, student advising and mentoring, service to the school, department, and university, and continued scholarship in the field. Teaching responsibilities include 24-30 contact hours per academic year, commensurate with rank. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, student recruitment, retention, and placement efforts; program assessment; and engagement in the life of the university. The Mathematics faculty member fulfills all responsibilities of a full-time faculty member as defined in the Stevenson University Policies and the SOS Full-Time Faculty Job Description. Rank and title are determined at the time of hire and will be commensurate with education and experience. Full-time faculty in the School of the Sciences are expected to engage in research with undergraduate students and to pursue external funding in support of this research.
