Full-Time Morning Security Officer

Job Summary:
Join our dedicated team as a Full-Time Morning Security Officer, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security at our facility. Your responsibilities include providing vigilant security detail according to post orders and fostering strong relationships with customers, local law enforcement, and fire departments. Always stay aware of your surroundings and effectively communicate any noteworthy activity.

Basic Functions:

Control entrances and manage pedestrian and vehicle traffic.Patrol buildings and perimeters regularly.Escort materials and personnel as needed.Inspect security and fire hazards proactively.Perform special assignments as directed.Responsibilities:

Arrive on time and report to your post in full uniform.Present a professional demeanor by greeting customers, visitors, and employees politely.Stay updated on any changes to post orders and information from the customer and AFS.Patrol the property or maintain a fixed position, diligently reporting suspicious activities and investigating any incidents or accidents.Continuously monitor surveillance cameras and equipment per post orders.Know all emergency policies and procedures, ensuring you can respond effectively to alarms and emergencies.Complete Daily Activity Reports, Log Book entries, Incident Reports, and any other relevant documents associated with your role.Offer recommendations to management for improving safety and loss prevention strategies based on observations.Acquire knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV systems, and other relevant equipment necessary for completing job assignments.Ensure that compliance and training guidelines are met, as stipulated by AFS and other regulatory agencies.Maintain daily communication with the Security Supervisor regarding any new security issues or necessary adjustments.Skills and Abilities:
