Responsibilities
Serve as a local point of contact for end users seeking technical assistanceMonitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT Service Desk and adhere to SLA rulesProvide step-by-step training for end users and document internal proceduresDirect significant, unresolved, or recurring issues to the next level of support personnelProvide accurate information and technical assistance support on IT products, services, software, and hardwareLog all service interactions and their resolutionsPass on any feedback or suggestions by end users to the appropriate internal teamStay current with system information, changes, and updatesAssist the IT team in other duties as deemed necessaryComplete preventative maintenance on various IT related hardware and systems
Skills
Bachelor's degree relevant to the position or equivalent experience2-5+ years' experience in an IT professional support role, with experience in decision making, researching, analyzing, and interpreting system infrastructure and application problemsWorking knowledge of current office and manufacturing software, networking, servers, Active Directory and other Microsoft products with a good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech related productsAbility to diagnose and resolve technical issues without direct supervisionProficiency in EnglishCustomer-oriented and ability to stay calm under pressureStrong communication and organizational skillsMust have the ability to adapt quicklyKeen attention to detail, memory of patterns, and interest in problem solvingAbility to lift up to 45 lbsExperience with ServiceNow a plus
