About the Role Hudson Global Scholars is looking for a skilled and motivated IT Systems and Network Administrator to join our team. This is a hands-on hybrid role combining infrastructure administration with end user support - ideal for someone who enjoys both technical systems work and helping people solve everyday technology challenges. You will support our global IT infrastructure while providing direct support to staff across the organization.
What You'll Do
Set up, configure, and reimage laptops and workstations for new and existing employeesProvide day-to-day technical support to internal staff and communicate solutions clearly to non-technical usersSupport Microsoft SQL Server and MariaDB database maintenance and monitoringAssist in managing AWS cloud environments across the US and ChinaDevelop and maintain PowerShell scripts for backups, license management, and archivingSupport OpenVPN and pfSense network infrastructure and secure cloud connectivityAssist in administering Unix-based servers across platformsWhat We're Looking For
1-3 years of experience in IT support or systems administrationFoundational knowledge of SQL Server, MariaDB, or similar databasesBasic familiarity with AWS cloud servicesSome PowerShell scripting experience or strong willingness to learnFamiliarity with networking concepts including VPN and firewall managementExperience setting up and reimaging Windows laptops and workstationsStrong English communication skills, written and verbalAbility to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-moving environmentExperience with pfSense, OpenVPN, Unix, or Azure AD is a plus
