WHAT WE NEED

Bopat Electric is hiring experienced Journeyman Service Electricians to troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and install commercial electrical systems.

This position is ideal for a Journeyman Electrician who enjoys troubleshooting, solving complex electrical issues, working directly with customers, and performing a variety of service, maintenance, and installation work in commercial and industrial environments.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial electrical systems and equipmentInstall, repair, and replace electrical equipment, panels, breakers, lighting, controls, switchgear, and power distribution systemsRead and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and one-line diagramsPerform commercial electrical service work while identifying issues and recommending effective solutionsFollow all safety regulations, NEC standards, and company guidelinesCommunicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members while completing service calls efficiently and safely

WHAT YOU BRING

Active Maryland Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent Journeyman License from a reciprocating state5+ years of commercial electrical experienceStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsExperience servicing, repairing, and installing commercial electrical systemsKnowledge of conduit, switchgear, panelboards, power distribution, lighting, motor controls, fire alarm, and low-voltage systemsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and one-line diagramsStrong understanding of NEC requirements and electrical safety practicesOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferredValid driver's license

Compensation ranges may vary based on individual experience. Final offers may differ from the posted range depending on a candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and the specific role offered.

Compensation Range: $34 USD - $42 USD
