About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Engineering / R&D Technician to support our engineering and product development teams in a laboratory setting. This is a contingent opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys working on new product development, prototyping, and testing while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Support engineers and technologists with day-to-day technical and laboratory activities
Assist in new product development (NPD) efforts, including prototype design and fabrication
Participate in the design, testing, modification, assembly, and evaluation of components and prototypes
Perform routine quantitative and qualitative testing, including physical and chemical analysis
Take accurate measurements and conduct calculations to support test results and product evaluations
Analyze experimental data to ensure compliance with required specifications
Maintain detailed and organized records of tests, experiments, and analyses
Operate and maintain standard and specialized laboratory equipment
Follow all safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, or a related technical field preferred
1+ years of experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or R&D environment (internship experience considered)
Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and testing procedures
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to accurately document processes and results
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred Skills
Experience supporting product development or prototype builds
Familiarity with physical and/or chemical testing methods
Basic understanding of engineering drawings or technical specifications
Pay: $28.00 per hour
