Job Summary
Compound flavors, produce extracts and blends
Perform analytical testing
Calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
Use laboratory notebooks to compound formulas and create sample products for evaluation
Prepare samples of raw materials, intermediates and finished products for customers
Perform raw material testing
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
BS Degree in Chemistry, Food Science, etc.
Experience in the food and beverage industry preferred
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
Ability to work independently
Color vision (ability to detect color) required due to need to daily compare color difference in products
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
