Job Summary:
We are hiring hardworking Construction Laborers to support underground utility and site work. This is a hands-on role involving trenching, grading, material handling, and assisting pipe crews. Ideal candidates are reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.
What You’ll Do:
Dig trenches and ditches; backfill and compact soil to grade
Shovel and rake asphalt and assist with site prep
Set and maintain trench grades using hand tools
Load, unload, and distribute materials on job sites
Assist pipe layers with alignment, layout, and installation
Signal equipment operators for safe movement of machinery and materials
Help install pipe systems, fittings, and restraints (PVC, ductile iron)
Set trench boxes and work safely in excavations
Follow plans, cut sheets, and supervisor instructions
Requirements:
Construction or labor experience preferred (utilities a plus)
Ability to read basic plans or willingness to learn
Strong work ethic and reliability
Safety-first mindset
Team player with good communication skills
Work Conditions:
Must have reliable transportation and travel to job sites
Work outdoors in heat, cold, and changing weather
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent bending, kneeling, and working in trenches
Ability to work full shifts
