Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist with menu planning and daily food prep to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
Support catering events by preparing meals and serving guests as needed
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service and customer satisfaction
Demonstrate strong knife skills and food preparation techniques to optimize efficiency
Qualifications
Prior experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments preferred
Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly in restaurant or kitchen settings
Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling, and sanitation practices
Strong knife skills and proficiency in culinary techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Experience with menu planning, catering, and serving is a plus
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
