Job Overview:

3rd Shift Work Requires Flexibility with Hours 12:30am-9am

As the Logistics Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to coordinate and expedite the flow of raw materials for production, ensuring that all materials are available on time. You'll also maintain records, reconcile inventory, and investigate discrepancies to ensure that everything is running smoothly.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Reconciling inventory figures on a daily basis, investigating and addressing any discrepancies detected, helping with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end inventory, and ensuring that all required raw materials are accessible for planned production are all part of this positionCollaborates with the Corporate Scheduler to ensure that the raw materials needed for the production schedule are at hand and keeps all concerned plant staff informed about any alterations in the scheduleFacilitate efficient communication between Transportation and suppliers to ensure that raw materials are delivered promptly and coincide with the production scheduleThis individual's role is to provide support to the production team by verifying that safety, quality, and environmental standards are being followed at all timesExamines documents submitted to production departments to verify compliance with directives, images, substance replacements, and new releasesConducts qualification tests to authorize new raw materials and collaborates with suppliers, auditors, and technicians to ensure that the safety and quality of products and procedures align with the ISO guidelinesPossessing expertise in one area of study or trade is not enough; individuals must also diversify their knowledge, skills, and abilities

Frequent heavy lifting of 25 pounds each dayIncorporating stair climbing into daily routinesEngaging in physical activity through standing and walking for a maximum of 4 hours dailyThe skill to navigate or learn the techniques of driving a forklift and qualify for a forklift certification subsequentlySpending half the day working in an office and the other half on the plant floor can lead to prolonged periods of sittingThe plant site is exposed to both high and low temperaturesThe ordinary period of work is from 3:00 am to 12:30 pmThroughout the year, it is requisite to dedicate one weekend day every monthSAP, along with MS Office and Windows, is a tool that is indispensable for professionalsSuccess requires the ability to embrace change while delivering results under time constraintsMinimum Qualifications:
