Leads and manages the Office of Investigations and Records Management. Establishes, implements and monitors procedures for investigation and resolution of employee misconduct incidents, consistent with Board of Education policies and applicable law. Advises administrators and other office leadership on recommendations for disciplinary action that is fair and consistent within Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) Board of Education Policies and Superintendent Rules, and compliant with bargaining unit master agreements. Manages applicant background check process to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Drafts and revises Board of Education Policies and Superintendent’s Rules.
