Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Master Electrician to lead field operations and drive business performance. This is a hands-on leadership role with full ownership of P&L, operations, estimating, and team development. You’ll lead a team of 8–12 electricians, serve as license holder across multiple states, and act as a key technical and business leader.


Key Responsibilities

Operations & Field Oversight

Ensure all work meets code, safety, and quality standardsOversee field execution, inspections, and complex troubleshootingServe as license of record and support permittingTeam Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop electricians and apprenticesSet performance expectations and build a culture of accountabilityEstablish standardized processes and best practicesSales & Estimating

Support estimating, site assessments, and pricing accuracyPartner with customers to provide technical expertise and drive salesIdentify upsell opportunities and improve close ratesBusiness & Financial Leadership

Own P&L performance including revenue, margins, and job costingTrack estimate vs. actual results and drive profitability improvementsReport on performance, risks, and operational priorities
Required Qualifications

Licenses & Certifications

Active Master Electrician license (MD required; VA, PA, DE preferred or obtainable)Valid driver’s licenseGenerac/Kohler certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)Experience

P&L responsibility in electrical, trades, or home servicesStrong estimating, job costing, and margin management experienceProven leadership of electrical field teamsExperience scaling or managing operations in a fast-paced environmentSkills

Entrepreneurial mindset with strong accountabilityExcellent leadership and communication skillsStrong business and financial acumenHighly organized with a focus on quality and complianceWillingness to travel across MD, PA, VA, and DE (60–75%)
