## Food and Beverage Server — Mc. Henry Row Courtyard by Marriott

We're looking for a Food and Beverage Server to join our team at the Mc. Henry Row Courtyard by Marriott in Baltimore. You'll take food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently. You will collect payments and also assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment.

Be prepared to be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. The position requires ensuring compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department, maintaining food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications, and ensuring communication with the General Manager, all other Department Managers, Supervisors and Staff. Other duties as assigned will also be part of the role.

Minimum one year of experience in a similar position dealing with the public is required. Candidates must meet the minimum state age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages. You should have the ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding. Education requirements include high school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.

Training and certifications we expect you to have include Serv. Safe and/or food safety training and alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS). Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele is also desirable.
