Project Accountant

Required Skills & Experience




1. Associates (2-year) or Bachelors (4-year) degree in Accounting or related field.

2. Ideally 4+ years experience in construction accounting or related field.

3. Ability to learn and use CMiC construction/accounting software.

4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and Word.

5. Comfortable working in jobsite trailer on an active construction site.

6. Ability to receive general instruction and apply it to detailed task requirements.

7. Aptitude for problem solving.

8. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.




Job Description




1. Compile monthly construction invoices to the project owner.

2. Process and track miscellaneous vendor expenditures.

3. Monitor project costs and budgets for accuracy and efficiency.

4. Attend monthly invoice meetings with the owner and architect.

5. Run project reports to support project team with accounting deadlines.

6. Assist Project Manager with miscellaneous job tasks.
