Teaching
● Teach graduate-level MSW courses related to behavioral health, including but not limited to:
○ Substance Use Disorders and Co-Occurring Disorders
○ Behavioral Health Assessment and Intervention
○ Trauma-Informed, Recovery-Oriented, and Harm Reduction Approaches
○ Integrated Behavioral Health Practice
○ Advanced Practice or Policy electives aligned with SUD and OUD
● Contribute to curriculum development and ongoing program assessment
● Advise and mentor MSW students in academic and professional development
Research and Scholarship
● Maintain an active research agenda focused on behavioral health, SUD, OUD, or related areas
● Publish in peer-reviewed journals and present at professional conferences
● Pursue external funding to support research and programmatic initiatives
● Engage in interdisciplinary and community-based research collaborations aligned with the MSW Department’s mission
Service
● Participate in MSW Department, School, and University service activities
● Contribute to accreditation, assessment, and program development efforts
Support community partnerships and professional service related to behavioral health and substance use treatment
