The Student Tech--Psychology will provide research and teaching, and administrative support to a full-time faculty member within the Psychology Department. The Tech will primarily support the faculty member in the areas of scholarship (research, grant writing, professional presentations) and service (committee work, service to professional organizations, continuing education opportunities). Responsibilities include working independently under the direction of the faculty member. Depending on the needs of the faculty member, the responsibilities may include research data collection, tutoring, organizing study sessions, as well as clerical and administrative duties such as copying, filing, organizing, scheduling, drafting email correspondence, internet searches, maintaining databases to support research and/or teaching activities.
