BALTIMORE — Law enforcement officials are requesting information from the public regarding a double shooting that occurred on Tuesday night at a convenience store in north Baltimore, close to Notre Dame of Maryland University.

On June 23, at approximately 10:49 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting at Mega Tobacco & Convenience, located at 5211 York Road. Upon arrival, they discovered two victims: a 38-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man, both suffering from gunshot wounds.

Emergency medical services transported both individuals to nearby hospitals. Unfortunately, the woman was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. She has been identified by police as Sean Lamont Williams. The man is currently hospitalized but is expected to recover from his injuries.

In the ongoing investigation, homicide detectives have released surveillance footage of the suspect involved in the incident. The individual is described as wearing black pants, black shoes, a black sweatshirt, and a distinct bright yellow jacket.

Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the Baltimore Police Department at 410-396-2100. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the P3 Tips mobile app, by calling Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP, or by visiting the Maryland Metro Crime Stoppers website. Individuals providing tips that lead to felony charges and arrests may be eligible for a reward of up to $8,000.
