* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring along
the Little Patuxent River.

* WHERE...A portion of central Maryland, including the following
counties, Anne Arundel and Howard.

* WHEN...Until 630 AM EDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from
earlier rainfall. At minor flood stage, riverside trails begin to
flood. Water also approaches fields off Bald Eagle Drive, and
approach Brock Bridge Road.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1225 AM EDT, gauge reports indicated the Little Patuxent
River at Savage had reached minor flood stage. Flooding is
already occurring in the warned area.

What to do

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
