At least 33 individuals sustained injuries, including one critically, following a serious bus accident in Pikesville on Wednesday evening. The incident involved an MTA bus that lost control and collided with a store on Reisterstown Road, resulting in multiple vehicles being damaged and debris scattered across the roadway.

Baltimore County Fire Chief Joseph W. Dixon described the scene as resembling a "war scene" due to the extensive damage and chaos. The crash occurred shortly before 6 p.m. in the 1500 block of Reisterstown Road.

Emergency responders, numbering over 100, quickly arrived at the location to provide assistance and manage the aftermath of the collisions. The area was filled with wrecked cars, vehicle parts, bricks from the building, and downed power lines, complicating the response efforts.

This incident remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the cause of the chain reaction that led to the crash.
