Authorities in Howard County are actively searching for a man suspected of killing his girlfriend in Columbia, Maryland. Darwin Carcamo-Santiago, aged 24, is wanted in connection with the alleged strangulation of 35-year-old Esmeralda Perez-Mendez, who resided in Takoma Park.
The incident reportedly took place in a bedroom at a residence on Watchlight Court during the early morning hours between July 25 and July 26.
Investigators believe that Carcamo-Santiago may have left the area following the incident. Police are urging anyone who may have information regarding his location to come forward.
