BALTIMORE — Authorities are looking for assistance from the community in identifying six suspects involved in an attempted robbery of an elderly man outside a 7-Eleven last week.

The incident took place on July 7 at approximately 3:46 a.m. in the 2500 block of Liberty Heights Avenue, situated in the Liberty Square neighborhood of north Baltimore.

According to police reports, the victim, a 74-year-old man, was assaulted during the robbery attempt. Surveillance footage released by the police shows one of the suspects brandishing a gray assault-style rifle, while another was seen wielding a sword. The video also captured the suspects throwing objects at the victim.
